A symbolic hanging up of a perch on the Castle Square – Business with Heritage office finished the realization of the shell building.

The realization of the Castle Square – Business with Heritage office started in October 2013, and its first tenants will be able to move into the building in the first quarter of 2015, when the commission of the investment is planned. Currently, the roofing is being performed and the elevation as well as finishing works on the outside of the building have just started. Probably, they will last till the beginning of the year.

In order to finish the Castle Square – Business with heritage office, we have been trying to select the best and the noblest finishing materials with perfect technical parameters which underline a modern character of the office and simultaneously they remain in harmony with the surrounding historical development – ensures Maksymilian Marcinkowski, chairman in Senatorska Investment.

The ground floor of the building will be covered with a conchoidal limestone – a stone which was chosen due to its color and beautiful stratification as well as untypical cut crosswise a stone block. In windows and showcases of the building, in turn, there will be glass with a non-standard grey tinge thanks to which the office will correspond well to the color of another elevation elements. The roof of the Castle Square will be covered with a tinted sheet metal which will develop into natural blue and grey patina under the influence of atmospheric conditions. It will provide a perfect coloristic composition with already tinted roofs of the tenements in the Old Town.

Moreover, there will be forged balustrades with brass elements in the building. They will be chosen in respect of an elegant character, in order to better harmony of the building with a historical development.

The Castle Square – Business with Heritage will offer 9500 sq. m of space, 4071 sq. m of which will constitute offices, and 1640 sq. m – service points. The project also envisages the building of the only one in the Old Town, two-storey car park for 27 places. The project was developed in the RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky studio. The replacement investor is APP – Projekt sp. z o.o., and general contractor – NDI SA.
