Rzeszów attracts more and more larger companies

The British Mobica, one of the most dynamically developing technological companies according to Sunday Times Tech Tract 100 and International Tract 100 rankings, is opening its office in Rzeszów.

The department in Rzeszów will be specialized in embedded systems and mobile devices. Currently, the company is looking for architects and engineers who would like to develop in i.a. projects dedicated to Linux and Android. Among basic demands declared by the company there are i.a. ability to use Java, C/C++, JavaScript or Python programming languages and very good knowledge of English. In respect of international character of the company, the future employees may also count on work at ambitious projects and regular business trips to the largest clients from the automotive industry.

 

Our plans considering the office in Rzeszów are very clear. In November and December we would like to hire 20-30 people initially, and till the end of the following year – increase the employment by ca. 130 employees. Moreover, we would like to create a balanced team composed of experienced engineers and promising people with a talent to code. Therefore, we will implement a cooperation program with local universities in the following year – says Jon Clayton, Managing Director in the company.

 

Rzeszów is the sixth Polish city, after Łódź, Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin and Lublin, in which Mobica is going to develop its IT projects. The office will assist at projects for clients from around the world of such companies as General Motors, TomTom, Vodafone, Motorola, Imagination Technologies, Skype, Opera or Intel.

 

A temporary office will be probably located at Juliusz Słowacki 20 Street.
