ECO Kapelanka – official opening

Kapelanka 42
Kapelanka 42 is composed of two buildings which offer jointly over 30 000 sq. m of office area
The ceremony of an official opening Kapelanka 42 – the first Skanska office in Cracow – was held on Thursday 20th November.

Kapelanka 42 was built within two years from the moment of starting the investment. The buildings were commissioned in the second and third quarters of the current year. They offer over 30 000 sq. m of office area class A. Both structures are almost entirely rented, mainly to companies which provide services for business, including i.a. SAB Miller, Apriso (part of Dassault Systèmes), Sygnity, Tesco, Skanska and Olimp restaurant. At the beginning of November, one of the buildings was sold to Polish REINO Dywidenda FIZ fund, which is managed by REINO Partners.

Kapelanka 42 is our contribution to the development of the capital of the Lesser Poland. We have been recently observing its dynamic development with pleasure. Cracow is one of the most attractive location for investors of service and IT sectors in the world. We deliver a modern area to companies in places which are the best base to their further growth. At the same time, we care about our buildings in order they blend in with the urban space. We think about people. Therefore, we would like to build the structures as friendly and new places for work. The success of the complex’s commercialization encourages us to plan and realize other projects in the city – says Katarzyna Zawodna, chairman in Skanska Property Poland.

Kapelanka 42 buildings are characterized by application of many green solutions which minimize the influence on environment. The complex will be certified in international LEED system on Gold level.

The project of the building was developed by a Silesian medusa group studio and its general contractor was Skanska S.A. company.
