Toyota Motor Europe – an European headquarters of the company which coordinates the activities on the area of the Old Continent – informed about launching its Shared Services Center in Wrocław by the Japanese concern. The Center will be responsible for some accounting works of the whole structure in Toyota Motor Europe: its departments, marketing and sales partnerships, production centers, daughter companies and logistic centers in particular countries. The aim of the enterprise is to consolidate settlements with deliverers which are being individually conducted in 18 companies located in 14 countries. The Center will start the activity in June this year.
The Shared Services Center is going to provide employment to 38 workers. It will be located in Wrocław in close proximity to the Toyota factories in Wałbrzych and Jelcz-Laskowice. Poland and Wrocław were selected due to the attempts made by local and central authorities which led to the improvement of infrastructure and providing specialized personnel for the purpose of accounting services.
The opening of the Shared Services Center is a further step towards providing a sustainable and profitable business structure to the Toyota enterprises in Europe. Since the beginning of the global crisis in 2008, Toyota Motor Europe and its daughter companies have been optimizing their activities and reaching annual and systematic sales growth. Therefore, the company managed to restore the increasing profitability of their operation in the region. The concern – in order to protect itself against the future market fluctuations and provide a sustainable development – is making efforts all the time by various activities in all fields of the company’s activity to improve the business model and structure of profits – comment the representatives in Toyota.
