Polish Pavilion in Krakow

Polish Pavilion will be opened on 25th July in Krakow. It will consist in presentation of tourist values of the country, its history and achievements of Polish science, culture, agriculture and economy.

Polish Pavilion will consist in a permanent and weeklong exhibition in both the pavilions and the relaxation zone with a stage, on which various concerts will be organized every day. The exhibition can be visited from 25th till 31st July during the World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow. It will be a perfect occasion to present Poland to all people coming to this event.

 

Polish Pavilion is organized to present Poland to all visitors as a dynamic, innovative as well as touristically and culturally attractive country. The exhibition will be interactive and full of modern technologies. It will be composed of four joined pavilions. All visitors will have a chance to know the history of Poland, e.g. through a virtual walk through the art of the Polish Middle Ages. They will also see the Polish monuments. Polish Pavilion will present the achievements of Polish technique, for instance, Mars rovers or Proteus robots. Guests will also have a chance for trying Polish delicacies.

 

Polish Pavilion is an initiative of Polish public institutions and their strategic partners. The coordinator of this undertaking is the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ). The main co-organizers of this project are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Development, the National Cultural Center, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Polish Touristic Organization, the Agricultural Market Agency and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ).

 

The strategic partners of the event are as follows: Grupa Azoty, Enea, Energa, KGHM, Grupa Lotos, LOTTO, PGNiG, PKO Bank Polski, PZU, PKP SA, IC Intercity, PKP Cargo and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe.
