The legend of races won by Eclipse is still alive. Eclipse was the auburn English blood horse, which was born during the solar eclipse and thus it was named after it. According to legends, the horse was undefeated and it won many competitions in a spectacular way. Therefore, Eclipse was announced the best race horse of the 18th century England. The new office, which is currently being realized at Jeździecka Street in the neighborhood of Partynice Racecourse in Wrocław, refers to the legendary incredibleness of the horse through its name.
