Under Gdańsk's president's honorary patronage, a conference ''Partnerstwo dla zrównoważonego budownictwa” will take place in Novotel Marina in following thursday. The meet shall be attended, among others, by representatives of administration on the level of voivodeship, city, district and community, Politechnika Gdańska representatives, architectural and engineering studios, construction sector's representatives, developers, banks, investors as well as local and branch media. The objective of the conference is to underline knowledge on sustainable construction and horizontal cooperation of participants in the building process.
- During the conference we shall discuss topics relating to master-planning and the need for integrated designing. Architects and masterplanners from Broadway Malyan as well as engineers from Mott MacDonald will address the main issues related to this problem, while a representative of general contractor RD bud shall introduce these issues from the implementation's point of view. Three of Gdańsk's locations will be analyzed during the workshops: Stocznia Gdańska, Wyspa Spichrzów as well as Stadion PGE Arena - says Jean-Luc Darras, RD bud's Technical Director.
