ECO Skanska invests in Małopolska's capital

Cracow will acquire another A-class building
This is Skanska company's first office project in Cracow
Cracow. A permisssion has been issued for the construction of a green office complex on Kapelanka St.

 

Kapelanka 42 project in Cracow consists of two A-class office buildings, which are going to offer an area of around 30 000 m2 for rent. Construction works at the junction of Kapelanka and Kobierzyńska St. will begin in as soon as october and will last till the turn of third quarter of year 2014. Kapelanka 42 is the first building realized in accordance to sustainable construction principles by Skanska company in this city.

- We're glad thet we're to begin our first investment in Cracow. It is an exceptional market for us, with which we associate our long-term plans and in which we see large potential. Skanska's green office buildings are being met with large interest even on this new market for us. It is proved by the fact, that even on such an early stage of Kapelanka 42 project we're recieveing many inquiries from potential lessees - said Marcin Łapiński, regional director, Skanska Property Poland.

Both buildings will consist of 9 ground and 3 undeground floors. In the investment's first phase a building with a rent area of 12 250 m2as well as an underground garage for both buildings is going to be constructed. The complex, like all of Skanska Property Poland's office buildings, will be applying for certification in LEED system. It would be the first building of this type with an environmental certificate in Cracow. Good location will provide easy access to A4 highway, Cracow's bypass and Kraków Balice airport.
