Cushman & Wakefield will deal with market servicing of World Trade Center

Port Authority in New York and New Jersey has commissioned Cushman&Wakefield company to manage the buildings on WTC area

Cushman & Wakefield will be responsible for managing the common parts of new World Trade Center on Upper Manhattan. The parts will include public areas and other crucial buildings. The company will manage e. g. pumping station that takes in water from the Hudson River and one of the largest refrigerating units in New York. The latter will provide air conditioning for retail and transportation concourses.

The new World Trade Center complex will consists of five buildings, as well as the museum devoted to the memory of 9/11. In May 2006, 7 World Trade Center was opened, a building with 52 levels and area of 1,7 billion sq meters. Its lessees are e. g. Silverstein Properties, Moody's Corporation, WilmerHale, WestLB, Ameriprise Financial i Mansueto Ventures. Currently, One World Trade Center is under construction, which is due to become the highest building in the US. Its area will equal 2,6 billion sq meters and it will contain offices, observation point and high class restaurants.
