An international UPS GBS company, which is specialized in transport of shipments and commodities, is the next investor from the BPO sector which opened a modern service center of business processes in Łódź.
First and foremost, we chose Łódź due to accessibility to a perfectly qualified personnel. It was very easy for us to find people here who know many languages – comments Vice-Chairman of UPS GBS Carol Brolley.
Initially, the employment in the center will total maximally 140 people. However, the authorities of the company ensure that this number will be gradually increasing in the future.
We are one of the best locations in this part of Europe and no one should be surprised by the appearance of such tycoons in our city. I am also declaring a further support from the city and I believe that it is not the last investment – says Deputy Major of Łódź Marek Cieślak.
The newly opened office of UPS is located in University Business Park at Wólczańska 178 Street in Łódź. It is the second such center of UPS in Poland. The first one is located in Wrocław.
