Vastint Poland signed a preliminary contract for the purchase of investment plot of the size amounting to more than 9000 sq. m, on which Silesia hotel, which was closed in 2006, is placed. The developer plans to demolish the structure and build a complex of modern hotel and office buildings in place of it.
We have already discussed the preliminary conditions of the purchase with the private owner. We believe that this contract is to be finalized by the end of 2017. It is the first investment area which Vastint plans to obtain in Katowice, however, I hope that there will be more transactions in the future. We are interested in the purchase of other plots in the city, which will definitely enhance our position on the this local market – says Roger Andersson, Managing Director of Vastint Poland.
The developer plans to start construction works in 2018.
