Laureates of the competition organized by the Polish Association of Developers will be announced on May 27, on the ceremonial gala in Warsaw. The Association is the largest industry organization that gathers residential and commercial developers in the country. The main goal is to select the best developer projects executed in the years 2015-2020. The entries may be submitted until the end of March 31, 2020, via the online platform.
“Well-built” is an open competition. It is aimed at all developers who execute their investments in Poland. The organizers wish to award the best projects and promote good practices that are in accordance with modern trends of green and pro-social construction.
Our main intention is to select the most interesting architectural residential and commercial investments that are usable and friendly to both the inhabitants and the environment. We believe that we will create and promote the best standards for the execution of construction projects and that they will be compliant with the new challenges facing the cities and the developers – says Grzegorz Kiełpsz, Chairman of the Polish Association of Developers.
The entries may be submitted in 9 categories:
- single-family construction;
- multifamily building (up to 50 apartments);
- multifamily building (above 50 apartments);
- multifamily building complex;
- holiday building;
- office building;
- commercial building (other than office building);
- mixed-use building;
- revitalization.
There will be also special awards: for green solutions, from journalists, and from regional departments of the Polish Association of Developers.
The competition will be assessed by an independent jury composed of architects, representatives of industrial organizations from the real estate sector, ecologists and social activists.
