TVP SA wants to sell its office buildings in the centre Warsaw

In early April Polish Television reported that it considers selling its properties on Jasna and Moniuszki streets.

Delailed information regarding the terms and conditions of the possible sale will be known later on. TVP S.A. assures that this information will be revealed.

The press release of TVP S.A. about the possible sale of its buildings on Jasna Street 14/16 and Moniuszki Street 2/2A provoked big interest among developers. That is why Polish Television announced that the terms and conditions of the transaction will be made public. On April 11th we still did not know the details of the possible sale, due to procedure reasons.

Before TVP S.A. reveals the detailed information, relevant research is necessary. The previous analysis run by TVP S.A. showed that the properties on Jasna and Moniuszki streets do not meet some criteria. Conducting a major modernization doesn’t seen profitable for the owner. Taking this into consideration, the Management Board agreed that the employees working in those buildings will be transferred to the main building of the television on Woronicza Street 17. This operation will enable gathering all the bodies of Polish Television in one building.

The property on Jasna Street 14/16 has been commissioned in 2004 and offers 5 690 sq m of floor area. Compared to the building on Moniuszki Street 2/2A it is very attractive for investors due to its prestigious localization in the city centre.
