The investor envisages that the project will be realized in the years 2015-2019. At the same time, a new development of the office will arise on the adjoining plot and existing station structures will be modernized. The investor should receive a construction permit in the third quarter of 2016 and the works may start in the half of 2017.

We will be conducting the investment in two stages and it will include the building of an office space with a total area of 21 thousand sq. m. Moreover, three structures which are under the protection of a conservator will be modernized. These are printing house, water tower and building of a locomotive shed – comments Jarosław Bator, Member of the Board in the Polish State Railways.

The first stage of the investment will be composed of two modern office structures with underground garage. One building will be located over the plate of Małopolskie Dworce Autobusowe. The completion of the first stage of the building and its commission is planned on the end of 2018. The building of an office and three structures, which are under the protection of the conservator – printing house, water tower and building of a locomotive shed, was envisaged in the second stage of the investment.

The total rentable area of an office part of the project as well as commercial and gastronomic area will total ca. 21 000 sq. m. The estimated value of the project is 55 million euro.

The foregoing functionality of adjoining areas, including Magda tunnel, will be maintained during the investment. The buildings will be integrated into a view and structure of the place and they will be not architecturally distinguished from a historic development.
