Poznań Malta House office owned by Skanska company gained three new tenants and one of the foregoing ones is going to extend the area occupied in it. Therefore, the first office investment of this developer in the capital of Greater Poland is almost totally rented.

The investment, which is located on the shore of the Lake Malta, offers 14 700 sq. m of office area. So far, the tenants such as PKP Informatyka, Owens-Illinois (O-I) and OpenText have been occupying the building. Kinnarps company, one of the biggest deliverers of office furniture in Europe, joined this group in February this year and opened its regional office and showroom in Poznań. Moreover, Ciber company is planning to extend occupied space by 1115 sq. m in May. Fitness 24 Seven, a Swedish operator of networks of round-the-clock fitness clubs, will join the group of tenants in August and it will occupy 436 sq. m. Food Expert, which functions under Rotondo Kuchnie Świata brand, will be a deliverer of gastronomical services in Malta House.

Krzysztof Wilczek, regional director in Skanska Property, emphasizes ecological character of the investment: Malta House building perfectly illustrates a philosophy of green projects of Skanska. It received the first platinum LEED certificate in Greater Poland and has all features of an efficient and comfortable work place.

The additional asset of the investment is location of the building not only on the map of Poland but also on the map of the city: it is situated on the perspective market of one of the top regional cities in Poland next to municipal communication stops and shopping mall, comfortable for employees and not so expensive in exploitation – comments Wilczek.

The mediator of the transactions concerning leases, who was also responsible for commercialization of the investment, was international consulting company on the real estate market, that is Savills.

Skanska Property Poland started the building of another office project because it was encouraged by a commercial success of the investment and potential of the capital of Greater Poland. In the very heart of the center in Poznań, the building of Maraton office has just started. The investment will deliver over 20 000 sq. m of office area located on six flours and 300 parking places on two underground tiers. The developer is planning the commission on the fourth quarter of 2016.
