Arup, a consulting firm, will deal with creating land development plan for Warsaw investment.

Polish Airports, the investor of business park at Warsaw Chopin Airport, has signed a contract with Arup, a consulting firm. Its task will be to create a detailed land development plan for the investment. Concluding the agreement on the 23rd July was a result of the tender organised by Polish Airports.

The plan is to be created by the third quarter of 2014. The cooperation includes not only preparing the land development plan, but also obtaining final environmental decision and decision about development conditions, which will lead to working out local land development plan. At the end of the whole procedure, we will be able to start works related to preparation of the land under construction of the first office buildings. It is estimated that the first ground-breaking works will take place in 2015 – says Aleksandra Matuszewska, the manager of Chopin Airport City project.

The analyses carried out by Arup company will be a basis for creating a detailed schedule of project's implementation. The consultant is also to analyse certification criteria of particular buildings in LEED Gold system, as well as of the whole park in LEED ND (LEED for Neighbourhood Development) system.

The works at land development plan will last over one year. In this time, a holding group, which will take over management of the entire project, will be appointed. It will provide us with full control over implementation of a project, which is of such significance for us, and enhance the process of its implementation. Details related to appointing the company, business plan assumptions and financial forecasts are the subject of already proceeding works – explains Aleksandra Matuszewska.
