Skanska signed a preliminary agreement for the purchase of a plot at Składowa Street from the City of Łódź which has over 6000 sq. m. The development conditions determine that a complex of office buildings will arise on it.

As Grzegorz Gawlik from the Spokesman Office of the President of the City informed, on 24th September of the current year the President of Łódź made a decision about development conditions of the plot at Składowa and Knychalskiego Streets. The planned investment includes the building of office structures along with commercial-service space, underground garages, communication structure, building equipment, above ground parking places, green areas, technical infrastructure and turnings.

The area of the investment totals 6311 sq. m, whereas the area of the development – 4400 sq. m. The height of the buildings will amount from six to eight tiers, their cubature will reach 158 000 m3 and the sales area – not more than 2000 sq. m. The investment envisages 78 parking places.

The decision about development conditions is now legally valid. Currently, Skanska does not tell any details concerning the planned investment.

We should mention that in 2012 Skanska realized Infosys Green Horizon office at Pomorska 106 Street in Łódź and now it is conducting the modernization of skyscraper owned by a former Centrala Handlu Zagranicznego in Łódź, the investor of which is Textilimpex Sp. z o.o. company.
