Xcity Investment decided to extend an invitation for participation in the proceedings which is supposed to select investors for 15 developer projects. Information memoranda in this case are to be issued by the end of June this year. We extended the term of issuing memoranda due to great interest and requests of investors. Projects will be also presented during the international real estate event MIPIM in Cannes, which is held in March. These are locations with huge commercial potential, and thus I expect that they will arouse interest and attract even more developers – said Maciej K. Król, Chairman of Xcity Investment.
Invitations concern 5 projects situated in Warsaw and Katowice as well as 10 investments in smaller cities like Bielsko-Biała, Chorzów, Elbląg, Kłodzko, Koło, Koszalin, Kutno, Łowicz, Oleśnica and Skarżysko-Kamienna. The total estimated area of all investments amounts to 250 000 sq. m.
Xcity is looking for investors for four projects on the area of the capital. One of them is Centralna Park within which the development combining office, commercial, trade and hotel functions will be operating on 2ha of the area. The second project is Aleje Jerozolimskie 140, which will be situated in close proximity to Warszawa Zachodnia railway station and West Station complex built with HB Reavis. According to envisaged plans, the office function will be dominant in this investment. The third project is Szczęśliwicka 62 – residential buildings with services on the ground floors. The last project out of the Warsaw investments will be located in commercial, service and office structure which will be connected with a new railway station.
In Katowice, in turn, Xcity is searching for investors for the project planned on Oddziałów Młodzieży Powstańczej Square in close proximity to PKP Katowice Osobowa railway station. There will be a commercial and service building in that place. Smaller investments, on which common proceeding was announced, concern development of properties located in the neighborhood of a railway station. Moreover, commercial parks are also envisaged there.
Initially we are analyzing what may be located on a particular property, we are presenting our proposition. An investor whose concept will be realized is to be selected under the proceedings – says Maciej K. Król. We have an access to very attractive properties on the area of the whole Poland. They are valuable not only for potential investors and they have a very big influence on functioning of the cities. Therefore, we would like our space to be sustained and responsive to needs of inhabitants.
