The construction of the Dominikański office building, in Wrocław, starts.

 

Skanska company is building its forth project in Wrocław. The capital of the Lower Silesia will enrich itself for about 40 000 sqm of office surface, which will be built at ul. Piotra Skargi and Kazimierza Wielkigo, right next to Plac Dominikański. The facility will be the biggest project of the developer in the city.

Another Skanska project in Wroclaw is not accidental. We believe in the prospects of this marked, that is why we have consequently been investing in it for few years in a row. Huge interest of our projects confirms that we were right. I am convinced that Dominikański will be successful not only because its location, but also unique solutions in planning and office special design and environmental friendly solutions, said Bartosz Kalinowski, Regional Director of Skanska Property Poland.

 Dominikański will offer 7 ground stores and 2 underground ones. A big adventure of this place will be a location – it is located near stops of the city transportation and Galerii Dominikańskiej and the Main Square in Wroclaw. The first construction phase sets 16 000 sqm office space building.

The project combines modern solutions and historic facility. There is Pałac Oppersdorfów on the purchased land, which was included in the project, after consultation with a preservationist. The building will be adapted to office and industrial spaces, depending on the tenants’ demand. The project was created with the cooperation of the general contractor, Skanska S.A., and architectural studio – Medusa Group. The facility stands out for its pro-environmental solutions, which allows the LEED certification.

The first project phase will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2015
