Four new tenants moved into the office block in Poznań: Sygnity, Wikia, Owens-Illinois and ING Bank Śląski.

The office building Malta House in Poznań has attracted new tenants. The office space in the building is taken up by two IT service and modern media companies - Signity and Wikia; by the producer of glass packaging Owens-Illinois (O-I) and ING Bank Śląski. Skanska Property Poland, the owner of the building, has been counselled during the transaction by the Savills agency. Currently, about 4200 sq. m of office and service space is available in Malta House.

In August 2014, Wikia will take up 945 sq. m of office space on the second floor of the office block. Currently, the interiors are being decorated, with the aim of adjusting the offices to the needs of the organisation. Wikia is an Internet platform created by enthusiasts, based on the Wikipedia model.

From the very beginning, cooperation with Skanska Property Poland was of the highest quality. Already at the stage of signing the contract, we collaborated with architects who - on the basis of many conversations - helped us to decide, what kind of office space do we need and what is the best way to organise work there. As a result, the design of the office was “tailor-made,” and thanks to the implementation of many unusual solutions, there will be space for individual and team work, as well as for leisure. I can confidently say that our office in Malta House will not be inferior to the seats of world IT leaders from American Silicon Valley, commented Agnieszka Chojnowska, Office Manager in Wikia.

The second tenant from the modern technology sector is Signity, software producer which makes advanced IT systems for companies and provides IT services. The company will also move into the second floor of Malta House, where in June 2014 it will take up 1089 sq. m of space.

O-I, the glass packaging producer, will also move into the office block, and it will take up 890 sq. m on the third floor.

For O-I, which produces packaging from glass, material that can be recycled many times, positive influence on the natural environment is very important. For this reason, the Malta House building, designed in accordance with the rules of sustainable construction, was the obvious choice for us, said Viivika Remmel, director at large, O-I North East Europe.

On the ground floor of Malta House there will be ING Bank Śląski, which signed lease agreement for 200 sq. m of space. It will open a new division here.

Malta House is the highest quality office space with LEED Platinum certificate in Poznań. The quality of the building and its friendly surroundings have positive influence on increasing the working comfort of the employees, which becomes more and more important for the management of the tenant companies during the relocation process. It was not a coincidence that such prestigious companies have chosen this very building. An equally important element, appreciated by the tenants, is Skanska’s attitude towards achieving common understanding and the developer’s openness to the needs of the tenants, summed up Dorota Ejsmont, Associate Director, Tenant Representation Department in Savills.

Malta House is located near the Lake Malta and is the first office block in Greater Poland with Platinum LEED certificate. The combined area of the office block offers 14 700 sq. m and 272 parking places. The building was designed by Pentagram Architekci. The tenants of Malta House include, among others, Franklin Templeton Investments, Ciber and Skanska S.A.
