It is possible that in summer of 2014 the construction of the office block in the area of Polna and Waryńskiego Streets in Warsaw will start.

The investment is being prepared by Ceraco Group, Danish development group working on the commercial real estate market, in Poland present on the market in Warsaw. The building is supposed to be constructed in the area of Polna and Waryńskiego Streets in Warsaw, in the immediate vicinity of Metro Politechnika station.

The company plans to submit the construction design at the beginning of March in the current year, taking into consideration the open administrative procedures and the law of the neigbouring communities. In matters connected with the proximity of the Metro and the foundation engineering, we cooperate with two teams of professors - Prof. Lewandowska of Warsaw University of Technology and Prof. Stypuła of Cracow University of Technology. We are going to start the construction works in the summer, announces Sergiusz Madurowicz from the Polna Sp. z o.o. company, special-purpose vehicle of Ceraco.

From the side of Jaworzyńska Street, the Ceraco Group will restore a historic residential building, offering 2000 sq.m of space. There are also plans to build a new A class office part, which will offer about 6000 sq.m of space. The investment will be made in accordance with the requirements for the ecological certificate BREEAM. The users will also have the opportunity of using a 3-tier underground garage. Also from the side of Polna Street, the investor plans to undertake revitalisation. Within the frames of the existing office building, the facade will be renovated and window openings will be introduced from the top (from the side of Rondo Jazdy Polskiej).

What is most important in the project is the fact that we revitalise the degraded part of the city centre. This is a term from the current local plan of the Politechnika station area and the actual state of this region. Old, crumbling slums, blind walls used as hangers for the adds in the very centre, comments Sergiusz Madurowicz.

The company also has to make a choice of the contractor - the Hochtief company is under consideration.
