ECO Marynarska Business Park has the BREEAM certificate

Warsaw office complex has been issued the ecological certificate BREEAM In-Use International.

Marynarska Business Park received the Very Good assessment in the category Asset. The building belongs to the fund Heitman European Property Partners IV, and the company JLL was responsible for the certification process.

 

Getting the BREEAM In-Use International certificate confirms our readiness to improve the buildings from the portfolio of the company Heitman in accordance with the rules of sustainable construction, reduction of their influence on natural environment, as well as care for health and comfort of the users of our buildings, said Izabela Kapil, Asset Manager Associate, Portfolio Management – Europe, Heitman.

 

BREEAM, in addition to LEED, is the most popular multi-criteria system of ecological certification in the world. It assesses buildings in terms of, among others, energy and water consumption, emission of carbon dioxide and materials used.

 

In the complex Marynarska Business Park, a range of pro-ecological solutions was used, among others, rationalised system for the management of water, heat and energy consumption, controlled by the BMS system, or LED lighting. In the building, there are water-saving sanitary facilities, ecological chemical substances and cleaning materials, whereas outside there are green areas with economical irrigation system.

 

Marynarska Business Park is located on Taśmowa Street 7 and consists of four buildings, offering a total of ca. 43 000 sq. m of office space. The investment was put into use in 2008. In the building, there are offices of companies such as Netia, Play, Colgate and Prima Poland.
