Q22 already above the ground

The works related to the realization of an underground part of Warsaw Q22 office have been finally finished after a year.

On 10th October, that is according to the plan, the building of five underground tiers of 155 meter high office realized by Echo Investment partnership has ended.

Further plan of the realization envisages that at the end of November of the current year we will reach the height of a fifth tier. Another tiers will have a repeatable character, thanks to which we will be able to perform one tier in a week cycle – explains Marek Szymonek, Project Manager in Office and Hotel Department in Echo Investment.

Q22 sky-scraper is being built at the crossroads of Jan Paweł II Avenue and Grzybowska Street, in place of a demolished Mercure hotel. All materials gained during the demolition of the building were recycled, thanks to which 1 500 tons of steel and 25 000 tons of a concrete aggregate were acquired.

There will be over 50 000 sq. m of office space in the building. The contractor of the crude Q22 building is Modzelewski & Rodek company. The project of the investment was prepared by architects from Kuryłowicz & Associates studio in cooperation with Buro Happold Poland. The completion of the office’s realization is planned on the first quarter of 2016. The value of the investment, in turn, totals 500 million zlotys.
