We are proud that we were nominated as the BREEAM associate judge for this special occasion. We successfully used our global experience in the realization of projects from the area of sustainable development and green certifications in order to support our perennial GD&K Group client – comments Iain Leyden Turner & Townsend Country Manager for Poland.

The BREEAM certification is one of the most known systems of verification and judgement of the buildings' impact on the natural environment. The system with many criteria takes into account such factors as energy efficiency, exploitation and realization, construction and materials, water and waste management economy, quality of the internal environment or communicational accessibility.

We are glad that our newest Warsaw Carpathia Office House investment received such a high grade and we are even more pleased that we obtained the maximal amount of points in the Transport category. The obtainment of a very good grade on the Design Stage phase is a common success for the GD&K Group, General Contractor – Unibep company and Turner & Townsend. We hope that this certificate will confirm our tenants in the belief that the selection of Carpathia was the best possible option and it will become an additional incentive for new clients. We are proud that our buildings offer the highest class office area complying with the newest solutions from the area of investment's realization – says Jakub Wazowicz from the GD&K Group.

Doctor Dominika Włodarczyk, the BREEAM Turner & Townsend associate judge, adds – It is worth pointing out that Carpathia Office House is being judged in accordance with the newest BREEAM 2013 International manual which imposes much higher requirements on certified realizations in comparison to the previous version from 2009. I am looking forward to the BREEAM certificate for Post Construction Stage and I am convinced that Carpathia Office House will set a distinct standard for office buildings in Poland.
