Mosaic which ornaments the wall of Biprostal is again at risk. The owners thinks about liquidation of the work within the renovation of the building - quotes "Gazeta Wyborcza". Elżbieta Koterba - vice-president of Krakow and Magdalena Sroka has been leading negotiations with a Biprostal SA. They're initiatives of an agreement due to which the company would do renovation's work and conserve the mosaic.
The plastic work was made on the wall of Biprostal in 1964 by Celina Styrylska-Taranczewska and it constitutes a realisation of the geometric abstractionism.
First plans of taking off the mosaic and replacing it with stone boards occurred in 2009. A great industrial action of citizens of Krakow stopped plans of the owners. Currently, effort of schedule the mosaic to Voivodeship Heritage Register is lasting. Urban preservationist sign the mosaic into parish records, but this doesn't let factual preservation of the work.
