PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna became a titular partner of National Stadium in Warsaw. At present, the arena has a new name – PGE National Stadium.

The agreement between the operator of the stadium – PL.2012+ and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna was signed on 10th July 2015. It will be in force for five years – till 10th October 2020. Therefore, the stadium will have a new name – that is PGE National Stadium from the date of signage of the sponsor contract. The titular partner of the stadium is one of the leaders among enterprises from the electrical sector in Poland which produces 40 per cent of power consumed in the country.

It took three years for National Stadium to be a member of the group of five the best managed stadiums in Europe. There is no such structure in the world which could generate so many positive energy. Therefore, this is the winning partnership for both sides as well as model naming rights contract – comments Tomasz Półgrabski, Chairman of PL.2012+.

The agreement with PL.2012+ is the next step to realize our main goal of marketing activities, that is reaching such level of awareness and brand recognition so that each Pole could know the PGE brand and would like to become its client. PGE – as the largest capital group in the electrical industry –  supports the biggest and the most prestigious projects in Poland in accordance with its communication strategy. PGE National Stadium is one of them. The best ones combine forces with the best in the world – says Marek Woszczyk, Chairman of the Board in PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.
