Over 220-meter-high crane was removed from the construction site of the Warsaw Q22 investment, which is being realized by Echo Investment. It was one of the most recognizable elements situated on the plot where the project is being realized. The crane was used at construction works from March 2014. Its working range totaled 45 meters, whereas its lifting capacity amounted to 12 tones.
The investment's realization is being conducted in accordance with the schedule. The removal of the crane enables finishing of elevation works on the ground floor as well as starting montage of revolving door. Moreover, elevation works in other parts of Q22 are coming to a close. We are planning completion of works related to main installation systems in February and then commencement of start-ups. In March, we would like to develop the area around the office – says Marek Szymonek, Project Manager, Department of Offices and Hotels, Echo Investment.
The commercialization of the office is being finalized at the same time as realization of the investment. Q22 will hold headquarters of such companies as Deloitte, Allegro with a dependent company PayU, Linklaters, William Demant, Vestor Dom Maklerski and Citi Handlowy. The completion of the building is planned on the beginning of the second quarter of 2016.
Q22 is being realized in a business center of Warsaw at the crossroads of Jana Pawła II Avenue and Grzybowska Street. It will offer more than 50 000 sq. m of office space. The ground floor of the building will be occupied by a representative and glazed lobby whereas office premises will be located on the floors 2-14 and 18-39. The remaining part, that is the levels 14-17, will be intended for special functions such as conference centers, fitness club and restaurants. The users of Q22 will have 348 parking places at their disposal in the underground car park. The structure received the BREEAM Interim certificate at the Excellent level with the result of 79.1 per cent, which is one of the highest results in this category in Poland. The project of the building was devised by the Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio in cooperation with Buro Happold Poland. The investors and developer of the building is Echo Investment.
