Such services as OLX, OTOMOTO and Otodom, which are owned by the global concern Naspers, rented ca. 5000 sq. m of office space in Maraton. OLX Group is to move into Maraton in June this year.
We needed a large and modern office located in the city center. At present, our team is composed of more than 200 people and our business activity expands rapidly. Therefore, we were searching for a place which can be adjusted to our needs. It is not about the amount of sq. m, because the needs are as different as the people who work in our company. Thus, we need a space for creative work, stormy discussions, meet-ups for computer programmers, meetings with users during tests, or zones where it is easy to talk by phone. We are going to create a unique place for work in Maraton. We want to break the stereotypes because our employees expect us to do so. We put emphasis not only on the interiors of the building but also on the surroundings, the proximity to recreation areas, or easy access by bicycle – says Marcin Urbańczyk, Managing Director of OLX Group.
Maraton offers 25 000 sq. m of leasable area. The building is precertified in the LEED system at the Gold level. The general contractor is Skanska SA, whereas the architectural project was devised by CDF Architekci. Additionally, Skanska Property Poland is responsible for commercialization. The foregoing tenants of Maraton are: ROCKWOOL GBSC, Sii, APS, Bridgestone EBS, Century Link, Duni, European Finance Function, or REHAU Business Services.
