The recommercialization of office space has just come to a close in Galeria Krakowska. The Historical Museum of the City of Krakow has rented more than 1000 sq. m.

The Historical Museum of the City of Krakow has rented ca. 1050 sq. m in Galeria Krakowska. The manager of the building – ECE Projektmanagement Poland – was represented by Savills during the transaction, whereas Knight Frank advised the Museum to choose the location and negotiate the lease conditions. What is more, Savills performs a role of exclusive agent who is responsible for lease of office space in Galeria Krakowska. The total office space available in the building is currently rented in 100 per cent and its commercialization has just ended thanks to signage of the contract with the Museum.

The decision of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow was made due to the need for temporary relocation, which results from the planned revitalization of the foregoing head office in Krzysztofory Palace. There will be an administrative department of the Museum in Galeria, research rooms and library. The rented office space will be administrative and it will not be available for sightseers.

We are glad that we could help ECE in the commercialization of office space in Galeria Krakowska. First and foremost, the building performs a commercial role and it is one of the most attractive galleries in that region of Poland. Its assets such as a very well communicated location or access to numerous dining facilities make that this is also a very attractive building for office tenants – says Dariusz Karwański, Director of Office Space Department, Tenant Representation, Savills.

The Historical Museum of the City of Krakow had very concrete requirements in respect of office needs and responsibility for changing the image of the head office. For that reason, it was of great importance to find a location in close proximity to the city center and the historic heart of the city. I am very glad that we could help the Museum to find a location which is perfectly adjusted to its needs – says Aleksandra Markiewicz, Senior Negotiator, Krakow Office of Knight Frank consulting company.
