‘Glass ceiling’ over Chmielna

A new investment by Chmielna St. is planned by the owner of prestigious office buildings in Warsaw.

Kulczyk Real Estate Holding S.a r.l – a group that is a member of Kulczyk Investments plans to build a new office building in Warsaw city centre. Unfortunately, the building will not match the height of Warta Tower - KREH building located by Chmielna 85/87. Built in 2000, Warta Tower is the highest building in the area and it accommodates 30 000 sq. meters of space across over 20 storeys.

Warta Tower’s sister construction – Chmielna Tower is to be accomplished in 2013. The company however has not yet obtained a permission to build it. The owner of Kulczyk Investment has explained that the height of the building is limited by the close distance of its location to the airport.

We are currently analyzing all the possible factors that need to be taken under consideration during planning the ideal shape of Chmielna Tower. Our goal is build a skyscraper which architecture would be entrancing to look at but which would also offer the highest standard of office space inside. It is very important for us that the building would not interfere with the surroundings and that it would improve the quality of life of local citizens. – says Piotr M. Krawczynski, The General Director of Kulczyk Real Estate Holding Sa.

The assets of Kulczyk Real Estate S.a. consist of buildings such as Ufficio, Primo and Krucza 24/26 – 6 storey B – class office building that provides 6 000 sq. meters of space. Krucza 24/26 is located in a prestigious place, by Plac Trzech Krzyzy.
