Run with Metropolitan

Cushman & Wakefield, the manager of Metropolitan office building, organizes running training cycle for tenants.

A well-known Polish athlete Mariusz Giżyński has become an ambassador of running training cycle, organized by Cushman & Wakefield company for tenants of Metropolitan office building in Warsaw.

The project is called "Metropolitan Run”. The first training session was held on the 27th June, and next runs will take place once a week till the 3rd October. Participants cover a distance near Metropolitan building, at Piłsudskiego Square and in the Saski Garden. To join the event you only need to be an employee of the company which is a lessee in Metropolitan and register on the official website. The co-organizer of the project is Running Consulting.

"Metropolitan Run" is a unique running project for the lovers of running and outdoor activities. We have created a comprehensive preparatory programme for 5 and 10 km runs. At the end of July the participants of the programme will take part in the 5 km Warsaw Uprising Run. Mariusz Giżyński runs with us twice a month, apart from him the trainings are conducted by experienced trainers of Warsaw Running Routes, and during some trainings we will meet experts in physiotherapy and nutrition – said Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, the Head  of Property and Asset Department of Cushman & Wakefield.

Metropolitan office building, located at Piłsudskiego Square in Warsaw, was constructed in 2003. It has been awarded many prestigious prizes, among others “RIBA Worldwide Award” from the Royal Institute of British Architects. In April 2013 the project has received BREEAM In-Use environmental certification with the assessment of “Very Good”. The owner of the building, which offers the space 38 000 m2, is the fund Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG. Metropolitan was erected by Hines company.
