Let’s have a coffee in Alchemia

City Café - Alchemia in Gdańsk
A new café – City Café – has just been launched in the Alchemia office complex situated in Gdańsk. It is an authorial concept of café inspired by a premises in New York.

City Café rented 230 sq. m in the service part of the second stage of Alchemia for the purpose of its business activity. What inspired us was a particular café on Wall Street in New York which I had a pleasure to visit several years ago. However, it is not about one of the popular high-street shops but about an authorial brand. In Gdańsk, we would like to create a place which is friendly to the business and work environment and which can response to its various needs and tastes; a place which is attractive due to its both gastronomic offer and the opportunity of spending time in during or after work. We are going to achieve this goal by opening consumption, relaxation and co-working zones – says Marek Pytelewski, who runs the café together with his wife, Jolanta.

The offer of the café includes a wide range of coffees, teas, desserts, salads, or lunch snacks. What is more, the business breakfast offer (breakfast in the café and to go) will be soon available. We are also going to make sushi on spot. The menu will be changed from time to time in order to constantly surprise clients. City Café perfectly fits the atmosphere of Alchemia thanks to its diversity and unique concept, enriching the offer of accompanied services in the operating part of the complex. Furthermore, the gastronomic offer will also have been extended after commissioning of another stage of the complex, that is Argon building. The list of tenants who have already signed the contracts includes renown Polish and foreign brands – says Marin Piątkowski, Director for Commercialization of Torus.

Alchemia is a multi-use business complex which is currently being erected in Gdańsk. The building of the third stage, the commissioning of which is envisaged on September 2017, is in progress.
