TEAL OFFICE – topping out ceremony

TEAL OFFICE in Lodz has already been topped out.

Another stage of TEAL OFFICE has just been completed. A symbolic perch was hung on the building. Apart from the representatives of manager, architectural studios and general contractor, Hanna Zdanowska, President of the City of Lodz, and Adam Pustelnik, Head of Investor Service and International Cooperation Office, participated in the topping out ceremony.

We knew from the very beginning that it would not be an easy task. The incorporation of new office and commercial space into the historical development required a lot of work, devotion and a sense of sensibility. At present, halfway through the construction works, I believe that we are heading in the right direction. I am glad that such experts as Budimex and Now and zw A studios are our partners in this journey – says Michał Styś, Managing Director of OPG Property Professionals, during the opening speech.

The completion of the construction works at TEAL OFFICE is a significant milestone in the implementation process. Thanks to this investment and the adjacent SEPIA OFFICE, the popular space – OFF Piotrkowska Center – will be enriched by new office and gastronomic premises.

SEPIA OFFICE is currently being erected in parallel with TEAL OFFICE. The project envisages a thorough revitalization of the former cotton factory, which was designed by Franciszek Chełmoński in the years 1909-1912. The renovation of flooring and walls is currently being conducted. The guests of the topping out ceremony could visit the renovated historical architecture of elevation and interiors with characteristic red brick and original wooden ceiling, cast-iron construction poles, and decorated railings from the beginning of the 20th century. These two investments will be completed in accordance with the schedule in the half of the next year.

I am browsing Internet websites on which the inhabitants can check the number of cranes which are present in public space. We have already beaten every possible record, in spite of the fact that there is no construction season. This is an important investment for the city which is being implemented with respect to the historical surroundings in the midtown in the neighborhood of Piotrkowska Street, that is a central street in Lodz. This is extremely important to me that investors believed in Lodz – says Hanna Zdanowska, President of the City of Lodz.
