TME Is About To Move Into A New Office Building

TME: New Office Building
Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) has been operating in Łódź for almost 30 years. This company is about to move into a new office building. Its official opening is envisaged for May 12, 2018. The investment will be illuminated by 13 000 LED lighting points.

Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) is an international giant in the field of distribution of electronic and electrotechnical components as well as workshop equipment and industrial automation. In recent years, this company has been growing very dynamically, hiring almost 200 new employees each year. Today, there are nearly 700 people working in the head office in Łódź, whereas 100 other people work in foreign subsidiaries, for instance, in Germany, Great Britain or China. In 2016, the company started the construction of the office building which is adjacent to the existing head office, and now it’s about to move there. This is a 4-floor building situated at Rozalii Street. It’s 17-meter-high and its usable space amounts to nearly 5500 sq. m. The official opening is planned on May 12, 2018. The existing head office situated at Ustronnej Street is to be adjusted to the developed distribution center.

The interiors are designed as comfortable work places. There are telephone booths on each floor, whereas partition walls and floors within open space have been soundproofed. What’s more, there are conference halls (more than 20) and all of them are decorated with known motifs from different cities of the world. Canteens are designed in a similar way and their looks refers to the tradition of regional cuisines – says Andrzej Kuczyński, Project Manager at TME. Employees can benefit from relaxation zone and two terraces on the area of the office building.

The building has a spacious lobby; thanks to the opened structure and glazed elevator, it can be noticed from every floor. The showcase of this investment is elevation, on which 13 000 thousand LED lights are installed. The illumination can be freely programmed, which allows for displaying various sequences and animations.
