The Ninth Real Estate Industry Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament will be held on August 2, 2018, at the Warsaw La Playa Music Bar club. This event is organized by JLL under the patronage of the Polish Volleyball Federation. The tournament attracts the real estate industry leaders: developers, consulting agencies, construction companies, investment funds, legal offices and banks. The means from registration, auctions of items from sponsors and individual donations will be transferred to the Rainbow Association of Parents and Friends of the Blind and Visually Impaired Children for modernization of the center, construction of the Therapeutic Garden around the head office and purchase of the ophthalmic diagnostic equipment. The last year’s edition of the tournament gathered 48 teams and 336 competitors, thanks to whom 379 210 zlotys were collected.
We have collected almost 1.56 million zlotys within eight years and they are transferred to the charges of foundations (different each time). Every new edition turns out to be record-breaking due to the number of teams, sponsors or partners, and, most of all, due to collected means. We hope to reach even further this year. I am very glad that we succeeded with other leaders of the real estate industry in creating a format that combines healthy competition and good cause. What is more, everyone waits for it every year. The most important thing, however, is that we may help children – says Tomasz Trzósło, Managing Director of JLL in Poland.
