Skanska sells Hungarian office building

Skanska company sold Green House office building for $ 36 million. The buyer is Hungarian fund Torony Real Estate Investment Fund.

Located in the Budapest, the Green House office building changed hands. Skanska company has signed a contract for the sale of open-ended real estate Torony Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by Diófa Fund Management, part of the Group FHB. Transfer of the property is planned for the third quarter of 2014.

Green House is the sixth office investment of Skanska in Budapest. It features a 17 800 sqm. lease office space and was completed in December 2012. Currently, the building is 95 percent. leased by tenants such as Avis Budget Group, MSCI and ABB.

The project is the only office building in Budapest, which received LEED certification at the highest level, platinum.
