Tesco Express shop was opened in Kapelanka 42 office complex in Cracow on 1th December.

The supermarket with the total area of 50 sq. m offers 1000 products, including vegetables, sandwiches, snacks, convenience food and Mini Bistro which sells sandwiches and warm meals prepared up to speed as well as freshly ground coffee.


The offer of Cracow Tesco Express was adjusted to demands of buyers, that is mainly employees and guests of the office complex. The stock of another shops functioning under Express trade sign is supposed to be always adjusted to the profile of its clients – depending on the fact if this shop will be opened on a housing estate, at street with a commercial character or in an office structure.   


It is the first shop of Tesco Express which is located in office. At PKN Orlen stations, few shops of a new format were opened several weeks ago. At present, Tesco does not reveal any details concerning possible future investments.  


Kapelanka 42 office complex was commissioned in the second and third quarter of the current year. It offers over 30 000 sq. m of office area class A, which is fully rented to companies providing services for business, including i.a. SAB Miller, Apriso (part of Dassault Systemes), Sygnity, Tesco, Skanska and Olimp restaurant. One of the buildings was sold to Polish REINO Dywidenda FIZ fund, which is managed by REINO Partners, at the beginning of November. The complex will be certified in international LEED system on Gold level. The project of the building was devised by Silesian medusa group studio and its general contractor was Skanska S.A. company.
