HB Reavis gained another tenant for its Warsaw investment Gdański Business Center. It is one of the biggest producers of tobacco. The company will open its new Polish department in October this year. The office will occupy more than 3500 sq. m on 6th and 7th floors in the building D. It is worth mentioning that it is the biggest lease transaction concluded on the Warsaw market from the beginning of 2016.

The tenant was represented by CBRE during the transaction process. This contract confirms development of new business zones in the capital. All requirements of tenants in respect of location, quality of the building and flexibility of space are still increasing and the competitive market allows to choose a headquarters which is perfectly adjusted to the needs of particular organization. Projects like GBC prove that a well-thought-out office investment can create an attractive office area and attract global tenants – Rafał Wdowczyk, Director in Department of Office Areas of CBRE, says.

 

Gdański Business Center is an office complex located at the crossroads of Andersa and Inflancka Streets in close proximity to the entrance to the metro station Dworzec Gdański, railway station as well as tram and bus stations. As a target, the investment will be composed of 4 buildings: offices A and B realized within the first stage and commissioned in 2014 with the total leased area amounting to around 47 000 sq. m. The second stage – structures C and D – will deliver more than 50 000 sq. m to the Warsaw market. The office C has already been completed. The structure D will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2016. The group of tenants of the second phase of Gdański Business Center includes such companies as Aviva or Bank BGZ BNP Paribas. The complex was designed in accordance with standards of the ecological certificate BREEAM.
