15, 16 and 17 July in Warsaw, a succesive edition of official LEED trainings takes place. They will be run by Agnes Vorbrodt, the founder and vice-president of Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC), the owner of VvS | Architects & Consultants company and the one and only USGBC Faculty in CEE region.
LEED 201 training guarantees a solid base of the preparation for LEED Green Associate exam, provides with the information about the exam and the resources for studying, and also provides with the knowledge that allows to freely converse about the basic terms connected with LEED certification. Participation in the training allows to fulfill formal criterions GBCI and take the exam.
LEED 251 BD+C provides with a sufficient knowledge to start working on projects that contest for LEED-CS and LEED-NC certifications. It is also an official preparatory course for LEED AP BC+C exam and the continuation of LEED 201.
LEED 251 EB:O+M provides with a solid base to start working on projects that contest for LEED EB:O+M certification (for existing buildings and managing of buildings). LEED 251 EB:O+M allows to receive the necessary knowledge about LEED O+M rating system, including the criterions of particular credits, standards to which LEED refers and the process of certification. The course can also be used as a preparatory course for LEED AP O+M exam and constitutes a perfect training for the owners of the buildings' portoflios and buildings' managers.
PLGBS have trained more than 250 people so far. A big coveniance for the course takers is the fact that the training itself is in Polish, although all the course materials and presentations are in English. All the participants are received with certificates of training's completion published by USGBC.
IC PLGBC will be continuing LEED courses at various levels during the annual PLGBC Building Symposium in October. Apart from the trainings concerning BD+C (new buildings), IC PLGBC is also planning to soon introduce the trainings concerning LEED for Commercial Interiors (ecological interiors).
