LEED 101 is the awareness training which will allow people new to green building to learn the basics. The topics discussed will include WorldGBC, PLGBC, USGBC; green building motivators, best practices, and incentives; and fundamentals of the LEED rating systems including the intents, concepts and terms for each LEED credit category.
LEED 201 is a follow up course, designed to help prepare for the LEED Green Associate exam. The participants will be able to gain essential knowledge of sustainable building concepts fundamental to all LEED rating systems. The specific topics covered include: LEED intents and concepts at the credit category level and basics of the LEED certification process.
PLGBC plans to offer these courses few times per year due to very high interest of participants. In the fall additional levels of training will be offered: LEED 251 and 301, which present more advanced training on documentation preparation.
Course should be taken in order.
Both will be taught in Polish, by a local instructor – Agnes Vorbrodt. The participants will receive an official certificate of attendance issued by the USGBC and will be able to count the CE hours to their Credentialing Maintenance requirement.
