BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management takes over Imoplan

BNP Paribas Real Estate takes over the Imoplan company, the commercial propert manager in Germany.

"We are very pleased with the take-over of Imoplan. This transaction contributes to the further development of BNP Paribas Real Estate in the leading European market. Both companies share the same values and both wish to maintain good and long-term relations with clients by providing them with services of the highest level. It's worth mentioning that the department Property Managment BNP Paribas Real Estate climbed to the third place in the ranking Bell Consulting in 2012 (in the field of office space, turnover < € 20 million, a category "quality and competence"), while the Imoplan company was placed second," says Lauric Leclerc, Executive Chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management.

Imoplan manages commercial space of over 2 million sq m in Germany. As the result of the take-over, Paribas Real Estate Property management will be in charge of over 34 sq m of space in Europe.

After France, Germany has become for BNP Paribas Real Estate the second country with respect to the number of square metres. Since 1 May 2013, the company will be offering domestic and foreign investors with headquarters in Germany services provided by 250 employees. Once the companies are merged, Detlef Kalthoff and Frank Helm (Managing Directors - BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management Germany) and Sandra Zengerling (Managing Director of Imoplan) will be responsible for team management.

Taking into consideration all our obligations towards clients until the full integration of two companies, I will still hold a post as the General Manager Imoplan, next to Lauric Leclerc and Piotr Bieńkowski, CEO BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany," said Peter Matteo, General Manager Impolan.
