ECO Construction works on Domaniewska Office Hub started

Domaniewska Office Hub in Warsaw
The construction works on the foundations of Warsaw office investment, which will be the future seat of Poczta Polska (Polish Post), have already begun.

Domaniewska Office Hub is a new office project of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. The investment was issued the building permit at the end of December 2013, and the building will be put into use at the turn of second and third quarter of 2015.

The project Domaniewska Office Hub is gaining momentum. We are conducting construction works which include the making of slurry walls. In parallel, we are finalising the process of choosing the general contractor of this investment, and we hope that we will be able to inform about it soon, said Paweł Laskowski-Fabisiewicz, vice-president of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A., responsible for new investment projects of the Company.

The project is being constructed on Domaniewskiej 37c Street in Warsaw. The A class office block will offer seven floors above ground and two underground. In two independent buildings A and B, the blocks of which will be connected, there will be 27 000 sq. m of office space. Two separate entrances and representative reception halls are planned in the buildings. Thanks to the buildings’ distance from the street, entrance square was created. The users will be able to make use of the car park for more than 430 vehicles, located in the underground garage and around the investment.

Architectural design is the responsibility of the consortium made up of the following companies: Juvenes-Projekt SP. z o.o. and DDJM architectural Office. The consulting company Cushman & Wakefield will commercialise the building. The manager of Domaniewska Office Hub is ARCADIS / EC Harris.

The building was designed in accordance with the highest standards of sustainable construction. We applied for the ecological certificate BREEAM at the Very Good level. A distinguishing feature of Domaniewska Office Hub will be a wide outdoor garden courtyard with greenery and elements of landscape architecture. We want to popularise ecological and active lifestyle, and that is why in our new office block there will be park places for bicycles, cloakrooms and showers, commented Anna Dużyńska, the Director of Commercial Project Office in PHN S.A.

48 per cent. of the total area, that is, about 13 000 sq. m, will be taken up by Poczta Polska S.A. It will move into here from the INTRACO building, which also belongs to PHN S.A. The lease agreement was signed on 28 September 2012. Poczta Polska will move into the new office space in the third quarter of 2015.

The commercialisation process has already started. We hope that some companies would like to book the space at the stage of construction, signing pre-let agreements. The investment will meet all international standards of modern and ecological office construction. Thanks to this, it is an attractive offer for a wide range of tenants who look for offices in new buildings and value business location on Domaniewska Street, summed up Joanna Blumert, Senior Negotiator in the Office Space Department of Cushman & Wakefield.
