ECO Echo Investment with a credit for over 700 million zlotys

Echo Investment company concluded a credit agreement with British HSBC Holdings plc bank and HSBC Bank Poland S.A. Its value totals over 700 million zlotys.

It is the greatest credit agreement in the history of Echo Investment partnership. We are the first Polish company which signed a credit agreement with HSBC bank on such a high amount in the segment of commercial properties. I am very glad that we gained a new financial partner and I hope that we will have an occasion to cooperate with HSBC at other Echo Investment projects – comments Grzegorz Iwański, chairman in Financial Department in Echo Investment.

 

The means obtained by a developer – that is 165 million euro of investment credit and 14 million zlotys VAT – will be intended for refinancing of Echo Gallery in Kielce and realization of offices like Tryton Business House in Gdańsk and Opolska Business Park in Cracow.

 

Echo Investment has major achievements in the area of realization and management of properties in various segments of the property market. Therefore, we are glad that we managed to establish cooperation with Echo Investment at such an important transaction. We hope that it constitutes a beginning of a long-term cooperation. Our participation in that transaction reflects the engagement of HSBC in business development in the segment of corporate banking in Poland and plans of building a strong position of the bank in the area of property financing on crucial European markets – says Michał Mrożek, member of the board in HSBC Bank Poland S.A., who will become a chairman of the board in the bank from 1st January 2015.

 

Tryton Business House is a modern office class A offering 22 000 sq. m of area. It is being realized at the crossroads of John of Kolno and Wały Piastowskie Streets in Gdańsk. The office will have its own underground car park and parking places for 262 vehicles. In the project, which is designed by Arch-Deco from Gdynia, 72 covered parking places for bicycles, showers, changing rooms and drying rooms for bicyclists were envisaged. The structure will be certified in BREEAM system.

 

Opolska Business Park is being built at one of the main thoroughfares in Cracow. The investment is composed of three 12-tier buildings and aboveground as well as underground car parks. The total office area of the complex amounts 57 000 sq. m. The project is being realized in three stages. The finishing of the first building, the area of which totals over 18 000 sq. m, is planned on the fourth quarter of 2015.

 

Echo Gallery in Kielce is one of the largest commercial and entertainment structures in Poland. Its total area amounts 159 000 sq. m, 70 000 sq. m of which were intended for letting. Except from over 250 shops and commercial points, the clients may also benefit from a wide entertainment part – i.a. 12-lane bowling alley, fitness center and Helios cinema. Moreover, the multilevel car park offers 2300 parking places.
