120 000 new offices in Łódź

The consortium of such companies like Mott MacDonald, KPMG and Wierzbowski Eversheds prepared a study defining what functions have to be fulfilled by structures which will be built between Łódź Fabryczna railway station and EC1 in the future.

According to document, 120 000 sq. m of office area as well as hotels, apartments and services will be located between Łódź Fabryczna railway station and New Center of Łódź (EC1) within few years.


It may seem that it is a lot, however, the example of Wrocław proves that it is not. In a longer perspective, I see a possibility of filling such area with tenants, especially that it is a plan for many years and it will be realized gradually. At present, we have some institutions in Warsaw which are planning to locate here some parts of their businesses – points out Marcin Włodarczyk, director in Łódź department of Colliers consulting company.


The success of Green Horizon convinced us that Łódź has a great potential and modern as well as green offices attract not only tenants but also investment funds. New Center of Łódź is a location which is very attractive from a business point of view and it is also a special project of revitalization concerning public area in Europe – admits Krzysztof Wilczek, regional director in Skanska Property Poland.
