The fact that West Gate is located at Lotnicza Street at the crossroads of Na Ostatnim Groszu and Legnicka Streets provides the building a very good exposition. The structure was designed by the Arcad studio from Kielce and it has six aboveground tiers with offices and two underground ones intended for a car park. Moreover, West Gate is designed in the form of a close solid resembling the „L” letter. The large glazed areas, thanks to which the offices are optimally lighted, dominate on the building’s elevation. The office is equipped with access control system, fast and quiet elevators, energy-saving air conditioning and ventilation, air humidity control system, suspended ceilings, lifted floors and eco-friendly lightening system. Additionally, the users will be able to benefit from stands for bicyclists, changing-rooms, showers, canteen and outside relaxation places.
West Gate received the BREEAM Excellent certificate with grade on the level of 72,8 per cent in February this year. The list of graded elements included i.a. energy efficiency, applied materials, health work environment or waste management.
