Works related to the project were conducted from August last year and their costs amounted to over 29.5 million zlotys net. The realized investment was a part of Gdański Projekt Komunikacji Miejskiej phase IIIC and it was conducted in three stages. An approach road to the bus stop and building of the PKM Jasień integration hub were realized within the first stage. As a general contractor, we were responsible within this part for i.a. building of an approach road to the PKM Jasień station at the section from Kartuska Street along planned Gronostajowa Street and Nowa Myśliwska Street to the line of devising infrastructure of the PKM Jasień station, building of an approach road to the Jasień storage reservoir and connexion of Myśliwska Street and Jasieńska Street to the designed approach road running to PKM – says Anna Bystry, Project Manager, Skanska. Additionally, the company realized a number of different works related to the building of a road overpass, planting of trees, shrubs and ornamental grass as well as installation of railway shelters. Moreover, Skanska was responsible for works in the area of establishment of the PKM Jasień integration hub. These works included i.a. building of internal roads on the hub, bus loop, pavements, bicycle lanes and terrain stairs.
The second stage consisted in building of an approach to the station and the PKM Kiełpinek integration hub. – In this part of the task, we were mainly responsible for works related to the building of Szczęśliwa Street on the section of crossroads with Kartuska Street till the line of devising infrastructure of the PKM Kiełpinek, building of pavements and rain sewage system, light cable network and electro-energetic devices as well as planting trees, shrubs and ornamental grass – says Anna Bystry. The last stage of works consisted in realization of integration hub for the PKM Brętowo station. These works included building of i.a. maneuver road, car park for 19 cars, covered car park for 32 bicycles, rain sewage system, lighting and planting of greenery.
