EPAM bets on Katowice

A company operating in the IT industry made a decision about opening a new department in Poland. This time in Katowice. It is planning to hire 500 people.

Leader in the industry of software in Central and Eastern Europe – EPAM – made a decision about opening a new department in Poland. The group of offices in Cracow, Gdańsk and Wrocław was extended by a new registered office in Katowice. We chose Katowice due to many experienced IT experts on the labor market. Numerous universities educate experts in the fields that are particularly interesting for our company, thus providing a stable number of employees who join companies from our industry every year. Katowice also offers a broad range of modern office areas. An additional asset is location and good communication with Cracow and Wrocław, but also a close proximity to two airports: in Pyrzowice and in Balice – says Jarosław Wachowicz, Delivery Manager.

The new headquarters will offer job mainly to computer programmers, especially to those who specialize in Java and .NET as well as to business analysts, chairmen of IT projects or QA engineers (quality assurance). We need people who have already a few years old professional experience. Except for a very competitive remuneration, we also offer a rich package of benefits, possibility of work with the newest technologies and participation in interesting and international projects – adds Jarosław Wachowicz.

The new office is temporarily situated in Revita Park at Żelazna 15 Street. The company is planning a removal in the following year.

EPAM Systems has been operating for more than 20 years all over the world and it hires nearly 22 thousand people. There are more than 800 employees working in Polish offices of the company. EPAM is planning to double this number by the end of this year.
