Canteen Rebranding

Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT) - canteen after modernization
Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT) undergoes a rebranding. The actions involve modernization of canteen.

After the completion of modernization works, 641 sq. m of modern areas were delivered to the tenants. The canteen was designed in accordance with the newest trends of commercial interior design with a gastronomic function. Andrzej Grabowski was responsible for the project.

The canteen was divided into zones due to their usable functions such as quick serving of meals, live cooking, bar, kitchen or consumption zone. The highest class materials such as solid wood and natural stone were used while designing the canteen whereas the new furniture refers to the classics of loft design. The bar and the partially opened kitchen are made from stainless steel and ceramic tiles. The upper lighting was replaced with low hanging lamps with warmer coloring so that the employees could relax more easily.

The process was executed on the initiative of the building’s owner – Akron Investment Central Eastern Europe II – and its asset manager – Heitman. This investment is a continuation of actions in the area of rebranding. It also constitutes a response to the needs of people working in the building situated at Chłodnej 51 Street. The canteen’s operator, who participated in the process of implementing changes, is Connect Lunch Bar.

The canteen constitutes a core of nutritional offer available on the area of WTT, thus the process of adjusting to the expectations of people working in the office building was one of the most important goals of the investor within the implemented strategy of modernization and rebranding. Apart from it, the employees have a café, bakery and common dining room for people who prefer home cooking at their disposal – says Izabela Kapil, Vice President of Portfolio Management Europe, Heitman.

Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT) was founded at the end of the 90-ties. The building still delivers high standard of services to its tenants. New facilities are systematically introduced. The office building received a Very Good grade in the BREEAM In-Use certification process. The owner's and the asset manager's common goal is to implement solutions which create a user-friendly space. The canteen revitalization is one of the actions undertaken in order to achieve this objective.
