Hines has signed two new lease contracts in the Warsaw New City complex which pertain to over 1273 sq. m of office space.
One of the companies which will move into New City by the end of April 2018 is Valeo Service Eastern Europe Sp. z o.o. This is an international group which specializes in design, manufacture and sale of car parts and systems. Its new office in New City will occupy nearly 1000 sq. m of office space on the fifth floor. The contract was signed for seven years. The tenant was represented by Colliers during the negotiation process. The modern office space delivered by New City will provide our employees with better working conditions. Due to dynamic growth, we needed flexible office space which would meet our expectations for the next several years – Simone Terreno, General Manager at Valeo Services, Eastern Europe Sp. z o.o.
The second tenant is Xiaomi H.K. Limited. This producer and distributor of electronic devices, including mobile phones and accessories, will locate its first Polish head office in New City. The company has leased ca. 300 sq. m of office space on the fifth floor. While deciding on the first Polish location, we have analyzed thoroughly every possibility. The choice of New City was made due to perfect exposition of the building, the location of which will provide our employees with different options of commuting – says Jason Zhang, EU Sales Manager, Xiaomi H.K. Additionally, the decision on the expansion was made by Fabryka Okularów Sp. z.o.o. The office and the eye care center are located in New City. After the expansion, the company will occupy nearly 1400 sq. m of office and service space. Fabryka Okularów was represented by Walter Herz consulting company during the negotiation process.
The obtainment of two new tenants in the era of the competitive office market shows that New City is still an attractive location for companies. Such choice was made due to the perfect exposition of the complex, close proximity to tram and bus stops and access to car park for guests and tenants. New City office complex comprises two buildings which deliver over 44 000 sq. m. The complex is situated at Marynarskiej 15 Street in the Mokotów office center. There are numerous bus and tram stops in the neighborhood of the investment which provide fast and convenient access from all districts of the city. New City is owned by Hines Global REIT fund managed by Hines Poland.
