The construction of two more buildings in the GPP Business Park has begun in Katowice.

We are happy to inform you that the second and the third office blocks within the GPP BUSINESS PARK complex has begun on the premises of the Upper Silesian Industrial Park (GPP – Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy). The general contractor is  Spec Bau Polska LLC. Construction works are planned to be completed by mid 2014. - says the official statement issued by GPP.

The first office building, named after the Nobel Prize winner Maria Goeppert-Mayer from Katowice, was made available in September 2012. New buildings will be identical with the first one. The complex distinguishes itself by being a trigeneration – it produces electricity, heat and cold from natural gas. This solution lowers the emission of pollution and energy loses. The buildings meet the BREEAM requirements, using much less energy than traditional office blocks.

The value of a single office block in the complex is ca. 39MM PLN. Each offers 7,800 sq m of space and an underground parking lot. The complex is going to consist of four smart buildings in the Katowice special economic zone. Such location will enable to tenants to be subject to tax benefits.

All office blocks in the GPP Business Park will be named after Silesian Nobel Prize winners. The buildings will be appropriated for the companies in the BPO, SSC, S&D and IT sectors.
